WEDDINGS AT FELLOWSHIP

If you are visiting this page, a “congratulations” is probably in order to you or someone close to you.  Engagements and weddings are very exciting, and at Fellowship we want to celebrate with you.  However, we also want to help prepare you for a lifelong marriage.

FIRST STEPS
We don’t just want to “do weddings.” Instead, we really desire to assist couples in building strong and vibrant marriages.  For couples anticipating engagement or marriage at FBC, call the church office for information to start your pre-engagement/pre-marital process.  Our desire is to come alongside you and your fiancé during this exciting time to provide resources that might enable you to build a satisfying marriage to last a lifetime.

Because we firmly believe in that commitment, we provide excellent resources for couples in the marriage preparation process.  Please visit our Considering Marriage? page or click for a downloadable brochure with all the details.

In order to receive the greatest benefit from these resources, contact the church offices at 501.224.7171 or by at least six months prior to the anticipated wedding date.

PLANNING YOUR WEDDING
Once you have contacted the church office to start your pre-marital process you will be given all the details on everything from how to reserve the church to who you can talk to for pre-marital counseling to how to get a marriage license.

As a bride-to-be, you will also be provided with a comprehensive planning guide.  Our Wedding Manual answers many initial questions regarding weddings at Fellowship, with additional information on church policies, rehearsals, receptions, sample vows and ceremonies, and planning helps. Within this resource are sample wedding videos, photos from past weddings, reference information on florists and caterers who have offered their services to FBC brides, and much more!

To help you plan a unique, worshipful wedding ceremony, Fellowship offers the services of a Wedding Coordinator and team of experienced wedding directors for a modest fee.  Not only are wedding directors available to direct the rehearsal and the ceremony, they can also offer valuable tips in the selection of music, lighting, floral ideas, and much more. Much of the "wedding day jitters" - those details that brides and grooms often worry about – are taken away!
